# 1. Public Infrastructure

## You Can Build Something Everyone Will See. Forever.

{% hint style="info" %}
**The short version**

You want to build something big? A trading hall. A library. An arena. A temple.

MineX gives you permission to build it, protects you while you do, and if it turns out great, we keep it standing forever.

Your name goes on it. Your skin goes in it.
{% endhint %}

## What This Is

Public Infrastructure is how MineX backs players who want to build the landmarks of the server.

You bring the idea, the team, and the time. We bring the permissions, the rare materials, and the protection. When it is finished, we put it in this GitBook, we tweet about you, we make a video, and we place NPC statues of every builder inside the building.

The build is for everyone to use. Your work is what makes the world feel real.

## How To Apply

It is genuinely simple. Two things, one Discord ticket.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open a ticket on Discord

Go to **#public-builds** on our Discord.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Tell us two things

**Who is building.** Just the in-game names of everyone on your team who needs build permission for the next three weeks.

**What you are building.** A short description with the size. One paragraph is fine. A sketch or reference image helps but is not required.

That is the application. No forms.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### We give you permissions

If the idea fits and the location works, we grant your team build rights in the zone. You can start the same day.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Build for three weeks

You have **21 days**. Every week you send us a few screenshots so we can see how it is going.

That is it.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### If it is great, it stays

After three weeks we look at the finished build. If it turned out as good as we hoped, the structure gets long-term protection, your names go in this GitBook, NPC statues of you get placed inside, and we launch it with a tweet and a video.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**No paperwork. No design committee.** Just tell us who you are and what you want to build. Most tickets are approved within a few days.
{% endhint %}

## What Qualifies

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="✅ Yes" %}
**Builds that serve everyone.**

* Trading halls and markets
* Libraries and archives
* Arenas and duel grounds
* Temples tied to MineX lore
* Parkour courses
* Public farms
* Transportation hubs
* Memorials and statues
* Gathering spaces

If a random player can walk in and use it, it qualifies.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="❌ No" %}
**Builds that serve a few.**

* Guild bases and private fortresses
* Anything with locked access
* Anything containing private team storage

You can still build these anywhere on the map. They are normal SMP projects. You just defend them yourself.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## What You Get

* 🗿 **NPC statues of you inside the build**\
  Permanent NPCs of every builder placed inside the finished structure. Players will see you standing there years from now.
* 📜 **Your names in this GitBook**\
  A permanent entry on this page for every build you finish. A paragraph about your team. Searchable. Forever.
* 🐦 **An official tweet**\
  A dedicated post from @MineXsol introducing the founding builders, tagged, with screenshots of the build.
* 🎬 **An animation video**\
  A short cinematic walkthrough of the finished build. Narrated. Crediting you by name. Published on YouTube.
* 🎁 **A founder's item**\
  A special unique cosmetic item given only to contributors of public buildings.
* 🛡️ **Long-term protection**\
  A great build gets sealed and protected for an extended period. No griefers. No crystal blasts. Your work stays standing.

## The Rules, Kept Short

{% hint style="warning" %}

* **One team, three weeks.** That is the build window. We extend if the work is real and you tell us early.
* **Send pictures every week.** This is how we know it is going well and how we get content for the launch video.
* **No private chests inside.** The building is for everyone. If it needs storage for its function, we set that up together.
* **No PvP inside the protected zone.** It is a safe space.
* **The build belongs to MineX once it is finished.** You keep all the credit. We keep it standing.
  {% endhint %}

That is the whole rulebook. Anything else, we work out in the Discord ticket.

## Materials

**MineX provides** the rare stuff: beacons, custom blocks, images, and anything decorative that would take forever to grind alone.

**You provide** the bulk: stone, wood, glass, concrete, terracotta — the materials you collect through normal gameplay.

This way you do not burn out grinding, and we do not turn this into a free fortress. It is a partnership.

## Why This Matters

> "Most people leave the world with nothing behind. You do not have to be most people."

Most things you build in life are for you. Your house. Your career. Your savings. That is not a criticisit is just how the world works.

But every once in a while, someone builds something for everyone else.

The Romans built aqueducts for cities that did not exist yet. The medieval builders of Europe spent generations on cathedrals they would never see finished — because they believed the people who came after them deserved something beautiful.

None of them built it for the credit. They built it because they understood something simple: a world with more beautiful, useful, shared things in it is a better world. And they had the skill to add one.

You have that skill too.

When you build a trading hall at spawn, you are giving every new player who joins a safe place to trade. You are giving the community a center. You are making the world feel like a world.

Your name will be on it. Your statue will stand inside it. An animation video of your build will live on YouTube. Your name in this GitBook. The building itself, protected and standing.

All of it, forever.

You deserve to leave something to this world. Years from now, someone who never met you will walk through what you built and feel like this place was made by people who cared.

Most people leave the world with nothing behind. You do not have to be most people.

## Active Projects

### 🏪 The Grand Trading Hall — *Pending Approval*

**Location:** Spawn (around 0, 0)\
**Proposed by:** the **yesh team**\
**Status:** Draft proposal, under review\
**Estimated timeline:** 3 weeks once approved

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="The Proposal" %}

> "Good morning or evening, me and my team want to create a capital or trading hall in the center of the map at x=0, z=0. We are going to be the ones to build it and pay/grind for the materials needed. But we want to create a center where players can trade and be protected from griefers. It is just an idea — it is okay if it gets rejected."
>
> *— Submitted by the yesh team*

A central marketplace at spawn. A safe place for players to trade without losing items to griefers. Funded by the proposing team.

The MineX team is finalizing the details. Approval expected soon.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="The Builders" %}
**The yesh team**

* **DynaHunt**
* **Gjebrimulaj**
* **NotCoby**
* **Lazar Lazar**
* **s4dijiro** *(tentative)*

If approved, these are the names that will go in this GitBook, in the launch tweet, and on the NPC statues placed inside the hall.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**Want your project on this list?**

Open a ticket in **#public-builds** on Discord. Tell us who is on your team and what you want to build. Some reference images are very appreciated.

That is the entire application.
{% endhint %}

## FAQ

<details>

<summary>Can we just build it without applying?</summary>

You can. But it will not be protected. A bad player will find it and break it.

If you want it to stay standing, go through the process. It takes one Discord ticket.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if our proposal gets rejected?</summary>

We tell you why. You can change the idea and try again. Rejections are not held against anyone.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can we add a friend to the team mid-construction?</summary>

Yes. Just send their name in the same Discord ticket. The credits get locked at the end of the three weeks.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if we need a few extra days?</summary>

Tell us before the deadline. If the work is real, we extend. Silence is the only thing that ends the project early.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can two teams build one bigger thing together?</summary>

Yes. Everyone on every team gets credit and a statue.
